Mr. Ebow Anamuah-Mensah

Chief Technical Officer

Ebow Anamuah-Mensah is the Chief Technology Officer of IT Consortium. He is a software engineer with expertise in hardware and network systems. With over 24 years’ experience in developing and implementing systems and with an in-depth understanding of the ever changing needs of clients, he has over the period strategically provided total solutions that meet the requirements of our customers and also presided over the development and enhancement of new products and service for the company. He is in charge of the development and implementation of all client solutions at IT Consortium.

Prior to joining IT Consortium in 2000, Ebow was an Administrator at Mindz Development House, where he successfully managed the setting up and running the company, developed all hardware and software products, introduced an innovative product into the Ghanaian market, promoted products through mail, radio and television and provided the first practical solution for student information management in Senior High Schools.

With the passion for nurturing and empowering both young and adult minds to thrive in the field of technology, Mr. Anamuah-Mensah has organized numerous workshops and training programmes on Science, Technology and Mathematics Education for Girls (STME) for the Ghana Education Service (GES); AFCLIST Country projects; Science and Technology in Action in Ghana STAG and at the University of Cape Coast. He also conducts OSIS seminars for IT Consortium’s clients in the educational sector.

He has an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Ghana, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from the University of Cape Coast and a Diploma in Education, also from the University of Cape Coast.

Managing Director

Romeo Bugyei is the Managing Director of IT Consortium. He has over 20 years of executive leadership experience in consulting, insurance and technology spaces. With his experience, he has contributed to the success and technology transformation of many companies. Romeo has led the transformation of IT Consortium into one of the foremost Financial Technology (FinTech) companies in Ghana and beyond. Romeo Bugyei currently chairs the Governing Council of the Technology Chamber of Ghana. He has a deep understanding of the Fintech space and has been a voice on many issues pertaining to the digitization of the financial ecosystem. He is also passionate about providing solutions and tools that facilitate financial inclusion.

Prior to IT Consortium, he was the Head of Information Systems Department at SIC Insurance Company Ltd and Group Manager for Software and Communication at TSS Limited.

Romeo has an MPhil in computer science and application from the Shanghai University of Science and Technology from the People’s Republic of China and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi – Ghana.
