Senior Finance Manager

Mr. Kpetsey is a financial and management accountant with over 15years of practical experience in both the private and public sector. He is currently the Senior Finance Manager of IT Consortium. He started his career in 1999 as a Management Trainee with Integrated Business & Accounting Solutions Limited. He later moved on to join the prestigious University of Ghana in 2001 where he performed varying roles as an Internal Auditor and Management Accountant. Simon has gained a wealth of experience over the years and his areas of expertise are management accounting, financial reporting and internal controls. He has also consulted for several SMEs as a financial and management accountant.

Simon is a graduate of University of Ghana Business School with an MSc. In Accounting and Finance. He also holds a BSc (Hons.) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He is currently an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.

Romeo Bugyei is the Managing Director of IT Consortium. He has over 20 years of executive leadership experience in consulting, insurance and technology spaces. With his experience, he has contributed to the success and technology transformation of many companies. Romeo has led the transformation of IT Consortium into one of the foremost Financial Technology (FinTech) companies in Ghana and beyond. Romeo Bugyei currently chairs the Governing Council of the Technology Chamber of Ghana. He has a deep understanding of the Fintech space and has been a voice on many issues pertaining to the digitization of the financial ecosystem. He is also passionate about providing solutions and tools that facilitate financial inclusion.

Prior to IT Consortium, he was the Head of Information Systems Department at SIC Insurance Company Ltd and Group Manager for Software and Communication at TSS Limited.

Romeo has an MPhil in computer science and application from the Shanghai University of Science and Technology from the People’s Republic of China and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi – Ghana.
